Number four on Amazon's rock chart, the legendary guitarist releases his 19th solo studio album and first in five years on Reprise Records. The 14-song collection boasts an all-star guest list featuring Steve Winwood, Wynton Marsalis, Sheryl Crow, and Derek Trucks on music ranging from the blues to ballads. Allen Toussaint joins the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer on vintage Fats Waller tunes.
Neil Young, Le Noise
Number five on Amazon's rock chart, the venerable singer/songwriter releases an album “ Le Noise” on Reprise Records, produced by Grammy-winning Daniel Lanois (U2, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel) in his home studio. Recorded between releasing Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 of his Archives, this eight-song collection features the rocker on acoustic or electric guitar and without a backing band or overdubs.
