The Omnivore Food Festival takes place in Deauville (Normandy) on 22 and 23 February 2010.
For two days, Deauville will be the meeting place for the world's top chefs, and thus the scene of France's number-one gastronomy festival: the Omnivore Food Festival.
The event is divided into two parts, salé ('savory') and sucré ('sweet'):
- OFF sale (savory OFF): International chefs give 25 demonstrations to the public on a big stage.
- OFF sucré (sweet OFF): New in 2010, a dozen demonstrations by confectioners will be presented to the public.
For the first time, Deauville will have an exhibition area offering visitors the chance to discover the latest trends.
A gourmet meal for only €25 will be served by Fabrice Biasiolo, the chef of Une Auberge de Gascogne.
