Following on from partnerships with global designers including Jil Sander, Charlotte Ronson and Costello Tagliapietra, Japanese high street retailer Uniqlo's latest partnership has a distinctly British feel.
The company is teaming up with English fashion and lifestyle brand Laura Ashley for a Spring 2012 collection comprising floral prints, T-shirts, stoles, and tunics.
With prices starting at £8.90 (€11), the Laura Ashley UT range will be available at Uniqlo stores across the globe, with a percentage of net sales being donated to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
The partnership also marks ten years of Uniqlo's classic T-shirt style, UT, and begins a year of celebrations for the retailer.
Famed for its floral prints, Laura Ashley's previous partnerships include a collection for sustainable fashion brand People Tree in Spring 2011, whereby three original prints from the brand's 1970s archive were re-worked in contemporary shades.
The initial drop of tees will launch February 6 while the rest of the collection will go on sale as of February 20.- Relaxnews
