Valentino has announced it will live stream its Haute Couture fashion show at http://live.valentino.com/, allowing fans front row access to the January 25 presentation when it kicks off 18:30 CET.
Once the reserve of the fashion elite, Armani was the first fashion house to live stream a couture show online back in 2007, and although Valentino previously streamed couture shows live to selected Valentino boutiques, this will be the first time an online couture stream is offered from the Italian label.
Kicking off January 23 and running through January 26, Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week will see esteemed couturiers including Christian Dior, Chanel and Givenchy taking to the runways, as well as newcomers to the scene such as Alexis Mabille and Giambattista Valli.
As fashionistas descend on the French capital, those unable to make the trip will also be able to get involved by visiting Prada's website www.24hoursmuseum.com.
The fashion house is launching a 24-hour pop-up museum at the Palais d'Iéna in Paris, and visitors to the site will be able to watch events from the January 24 exclusive launch party from 23:00 CET. - Relaxnews
Designed by Milan-based artist Francesco Vezzoli with think tank AMO, the museum will pay tribute to femininity via interpretations of classical sculptures referencing modern-day divas and showing videos featuring the likes of Sharon Stone and Lady Gaga.
