Opening day at the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter"

The long-awaited Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park opened June 18, offering guests a chance to step inside the world of the boy wizard, complete with replicas of the places featured in the hit movies and themed rides and shows to entertain all the family.
Harry Potter actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton were on hand to officially open The Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction at Universal Orlando theme park in Florida, this past weekend.
In the footage of the opening day the actors welcomed visitors and set off fireworks at Hogwarts Castle. They also drank Butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks dining hall, stopped by Ollivander's Wand Shop for some magic and took the Dragon Challenge ride -- two intertwining high-speed roller coasters.
J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter book series which inspired the film series also strolled through the grounds, speaking of how spectacular it is to see her world recreated so authentically.
