Forbes launches new travel website to complement its guide
Opened less than a year ago, the super chic Récamier is bound to become the confidential new address in Paris.
A little "bijou", perfectly nestled in a dream location, hidden behind the trees on Place Saint Sulpice. Carefully designed by Jean Louis Deniot who insisted he would design 24 entirely different rooms.
The style is ecclectic, with a mix of 20th century decorative styles on a “directoire“ basis. Each floor has a colour theme and slight varations: black and white, red, grey/ blue, greyish green, yellow and gold. And the small lounge has been arranged like a garden verandah, with lots of mirrors. It has a feel of a perfectly bourgeois home, with refined luxury.
Personalised concierge service and attention to each guest special needs is the rule. In the afternoon, complimentary tea and refreshments are being served.
