Masterpieces by Claude Monet at the Grand Palais

This exhibition organized by the Réunion des musées nationaux and the musée d'Orsay, reviews the entire fertile career of the great impressionist painter, Claude Monet. It is the most important exhibition on Claude Monet for nearly thirty years, following on from the major retrospective at the Galeries Nationales in 1980. Organised along thematic and chronological lines, the exhibition covers Monet's career from his beginnings in the 1860s to his last paintings related to the Water Lily cycle in the Musée de l'Orangerie. The exhbition will be on display until the 24th of January 2011.
